Joseph Reale, 84, of West Haven passed away Feb. 3, 2013 in Yale New Haven Hospital. He was the husband of Theresa Mitchell Reale. Mr. Reale was born in New Britain on Nov. 27, 1928, son of the late Dominic and Nancy D’Amico Reale. He lived in Hartford most of his life. He worked for ADVO-Systems, Inc. in Hartford for 25 years. After he retired, he moved to West Haven. Besides his wife, he is survived by his sister, Vincenza Brown of East Hampton; his sister and brother-in-law, Lucy and Thomas Nobile of Westbrook; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. He is also survived by step daughters Desrine Rodgers of West Haven, Maxine Mullings of New Haven, Sonia Findley of California and Beverley Vowyu of Jamaica, and all of their families. He will be especially missed by his grand-daughter, Paula Rodgers.

I have played the piano and have sung with these dedicated singers and Joe had a great voice and was a true lover of music. We missed him when he left in Nov. and we know his spirit is with us.
