George J. Mihalakos, 44, of 23 Lovig Lane, Hamden died suddenly on Jan. 30, 2013. Born in New Haven on May 14, 1968, he was the son of John and Joanna Lekas Mihalakos of Hamden. He was long active in the family operated Clark’s Dairy and Apizza restaurants in New Haven and Orange. More recently, he operated a café in the offices of the New Haven Register for the past 7 years. Besides his parents, he is survived by two daughters, Ana and Sophia Mihalakos, both of Milford; one brother, Louis Mihalakos of Hamden and a sister, Stefanie Fragias in Greece.
